Article about UNISOKU's new workshop is on The Nikkei, March 21, 2016
UNISOKU is constructing a new workshop for precise specialized microscopes.
Completion is planned at the end of July, adjacent to the head office. Besides domestic needs, UNISOKU will answer the needs for emerging nations such as China and India, for researches of high functional materials and nanotechnology. The total floor area of new workshop will be about 500m², and annual productivity will be more than 40 systems. UNISOKU will produce the new microscope which is transferred from a German company in November 2015.
UNISOKU decided to build a new factory for probe microscopes
UNISOKU will build a new factory (second factory) next to the head quarter in order to improve the quality and the product capacity of UHV scanning probe microscopes.
It is planned to complete by the end of July, 2016.
The new factory has four pits facilities capable of assembling UHV-STM with mK-Vector magnet configuration.
It has a space for manufacturing 6 systems at a time, aiming improvement of work efficiency and high quality shipping inspection structure.
We will make further efforts to realize short delivery time and stable system start up.

30mk Ultra-Low Temperature High Magnetic Field STM System
An article about UNSOKU 30mk Ultra low temperature High magnetic field STM system is published on 7th page of the Nikkei, August 22, 2012.
UNISOKU developed a STM useful for analyzing magnetic structure of magnetic materials. This new STM is ultra-low temperature (30mk) and able to make high magnetic field (16T). Atoms stop moving when cooled down to 100mk, and align to same direction. By adding magnetic field, you can observe atoms spinning the other way. The evaluation under ultra-low temperature and high magnetic field is useful for development of elements under room temperature. The price will be around one hundred million yen. The sales will start within this year. (this is a summary based on the article written by UNISOKU)
Completion of New Office Building
A new office is built adjacent to the head office, in our premises, at the end of June 2012.
